We are runing the biggest piano serial number database collected, recorded and managed by professional piano technicians and piano builders. To run servers, to pay developers and to cover a part of our expenses we ask for a minimal fee to use the online calculator for 24h. We believe that our mission, the professional and time-consuming research job is important for piano owners and lovers.

Before starting you need to know:
- to find out the age of your piano, you need to have the brand name and the piano serial number at your disposal. We will show up the age of your piano, where was made, where and when the factory was founded and the factory current status (still producing or not)

Past: many piano manufacturers no longer have production records on pianos of their own manufacture that they have ceased to produce. Most of them have gone out of business with information seemingly lost forever, wars have destroyed irreplaceable records. We do our best to find out any piece of information from factories, museums, collectors, old records and piano professionals.

Present: Factories do not automatically share serial number databases, and production data are available with a delay of a few years. We are also surprised that some factories - for unknown reasons - do not share their serial number database at all.
